| These are the first pictures I took of
The Bird.
They were taken in my driveway when I only had the car one or two days. The hardtop was still on, and as nice as it is I was anxious to put the convertible top down and cruise. |

This is one of the first pictures I took of the
car with the hardtop removed. I had only owned the car for about a week and
decided to take a ride one afternoon.
This was taken on a side road along the route I normally travel to my favorite local campground. I didn't have the top down because it was a pretty hot day, but I did find out that the air conditioner works very well, thank you. |

This is at Sycamore Valley Park in Danville on an
afternoon drive we took during the Fourth of July weekend.
That's my co-pilot sitting on the hill in the background. I let her take the wheel, too. I think she likes my car almost as much as I do. |

Just some old Giants fan going through his second childhood. |

We came across this in a shopping center parking
lot in Danville.
It ain't no T-Bird but it's pretty cool. (I want a Wiener Whistle.) |

These last two were taken on the first long drive
we took in the new car. It took us from our home in Livermore to Half Moon Bay
then up the coast to San Francisco.
We stayed as close to the shoreline as possible and saw a lot of nice sights. This is The Golden Gate Bridge as seen from Fort Point. |

After driving around the shoreline of San
Francisco we arrived at our final destination, Pacific Bell Park, the new home of
the S.F. Giants.
After walking around the park and getting some pictures (there was no home game that day) we had a delicious pastrami sandwich right on the San Francisco Marina. Then we got on The Bay Bridge and headed home. A great day. |
