Bob's Yellow Bird

My T-Bird Emblem

Page Thirteen: The End Of An Era

After almost six years it was time to bite the bullet. I hadn't been driving the car much for some time and it was beginning to look like a waste to have it just sitting in the garage. So I decided to try finding a new home for it. I listed it on eBay and the timing was perfect. Two days later I got an e-mail from a very nice couple in Washington State who were interested in the car. They had looked at it on this web site and fell in love with it. Long story short, less than 1 week later they owned the car. Today a truck came and the car was loaded on it to be shipped north. I have been in close communication with the buyers and they are very nice people, about my age, and are going to do pretty much the same thing with the car as my wife and I have done. That is, enjoy it on weekends and take excellent care of it. I feel good in knowing that my baby is going to a good home and I wish the new owners all the pleasure out of the car that we have had.

The following pictures were taken on the day the Bird left my life. Now it is time to move on.
