Trim the edges using an X-acto knife with a #11 blade. |

Remember what said about the sanding? Well it starts here. Using 180 grit sandpaper, sand the edges, top, bottom, sides, etc... Sand through
any bubbles or wrinkles in the laminated Wear that dusk mask while sanding. |

Here what you'll need for the next phase. - 220
grit sandpaper |

Brush on at least 2 thick coats of primer onto the surface. Don't be shy here, lay that primer on nice and thick.

Sand down the primer you applied in step 9. The

Apply spot putty over any areas that has pin-holes, or patches of fiberglass weave is still showing through. |

With the spot putty applied, it's time to sand again. Using 220 grit sandpaper, sand down the areas where the spot filler is applied, and give the entire surface some additional sanding too. |

sanded everything down, and all the parts look smooth or as smooth as it's going to get (you should thoroughly tired of sanding at this point, and about ready to throw the whole thing in the fireplace, but wait, you almost finished).
