Bible Study

In this class, unofficially called “Not for the Faint Hearted,” we learn how to read the Bible more effectively while studying the various books. Some of our studies have also included the Apocrypha (non- canonical books), the “Gospel of Thomas,” selections from the Dead Sea Scrolls, some of the Jesus Seminar Results and Science and Religion. The 15 to 20 participants are highly motivated. Dr. Sam Sallie is the leader. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursday are in the lounge, 4th Thursday in Room 2. 9:30 a.m.

Jay Williams holds an evening Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. New members are welcome. Call the church for more information.
