United
Methodist Youth Fellowship

The United Methodist
Youth Fellowship (UMYF) offers youth the opportunity to
grow as disciples of Christ through service projects, Christian
Education, retreats/camp experiences, fun, and fellowship. Youth
Ministry includes Sunday School for junior high and high school
on Sunday mornings from 9 to 10 am and UMYF on Sunday evenings
from 6 to 8 pm for jr. high and high school. Youth Handbell
Choirs, and youth Vocal Choir opens possibilities for music
education.

Additional Spiritual growth experiences
take place under the UMYF umbrella including Sierra Service Project
(SSP), a high school project to the Native American communities. SSP
takes us to cultural and geographical locations, which broaden our view
of the world. There, the youth repair homes by adding roofs, putting up
dry wall, ripping out insulation, painting, digging sewers, etc. Junior
high and high school youth are invited to join in the programs regardless
of church affiliation.
Young Adult
Group (18 to 30 years old)
Our Young Adult Group enjoys spiritual
growth and fellowship through Bible Study, Sunday School, service projects,
and fellowship. This is a growing community in the church and welcomes
all whether you are married, single, a parent, or a college student. For
further information regarding these programs, please contact the Youth
and Young Adult Director at 760-753-6582.
