Captain Samuel Edward "Ned" Dorrington, Battery Commander

has been with Company A since its formation in October of 1996 at Fresno, California. Captain Dorrington's people on his mother's side were one of the founding families of the second Jamestown Colony.  In the years following, they became prominent in the Alexandria area of northern Virginia.  One, a Mr. John Summers, was said to be every bit as well known a frontiersman in the backwoods of northern Virginia as Daniel Boone was in Tennessee.  Later, other branches relocated both South and North.  Before the late unpleasantness, Captain Dorrington made his livelihood in land speculation.  He is the proud father of one beautiful daughter.
