Poem of the Week

LATE SUMMERS' FIRST STARS

	Steady wind in the trees
late summers' first stars
light, wind-blown
in rivers flowing
down to us,
the surface-bound.

The hearts of trees go deep into this Earth, and we too who are yet in motion have roots which reach up into our hearts, we who are not lost who are but wandering.

Steady wind tonight, stars light in rivers.
