Turbo Buicks
My Buick Turbo Regal

Performance Statistics
Current Project #1 - Replacing clapped out stereo
with a new system (a project which, of course, snowballed). I'm
not looking for anything extreme, just decent sound for the $ invested:
- Eclipse CD8053 Head
Unit
- CDT EF-51 Neo 5.25"
component speakers
- CDT CL-69 6x9 woofers
- Precision Power
DCX1000.4 1000 watt 4 channel amplifier (remanufactured)
- Second Skin
Sound matting (plus coating on the doors) the entire passenger cabin
- Replaced headliner
(and shell)
- Replacing carpet
- Adding lighted rear
view mirror
Roof/wheelwells/doors are sound matted, headliner and lighted rear view mirror are
in. (Visors need recovering.) Still need to install
Spectrum coating on doors (cabin side sheetmetal... where all the holes
are). I lost momentum, so I put the seats back it to drive it
around for a while, so I need to pull the interior and carpt out so
sound matting can be installed, and then
I can run wires and put in the new carpet. Speaker pods
for the lower door panels are built, but need sanding and finishing
(fabric wrapped HDF frames, coated with fiberglass resin):

THEN I can FINALLY do the stereo system install!!!
Current Project #2
- Finish up that dang engine!!
- Need to pick a cam (it will be closish to stock
as I really like all the bottom end torque) and it can be assemebled.
- Other than that, I do
believe we are ready for assembly!!
