Viking To Offer Three Grade
9 Clinics in 2007:
The Viking Soccer League
will offer three 2-day United
States Soccer Federation Grade 9 Recreational Referee Clinics. Upon
successful completion of this clinic, the student will become certified
as a USSF Grade 9 Recreational Referee. The USSF Grade 9 Recreational
Referee may officiate games as either a Referee or Assistant Referee
on recreational youth games for under-14 and younger only. They may not officiate older ages, competitive youth matches (Class
1), or adult matches. For the latter matches, you must be
at least a Grade 8 Referee.
The Clinic: Each clinic will consist of a three
-hour classroom lesson on a weeknight followed by a six hour class
on a following weekend day consisting of lessons on the field, review
of materials and a test. The classroom portion may be offered
on additional weeknights and each class will be limited to
15 students. On Sunday the various classes will merge together for
the on the field lessons, test review and test.
Attendees must be at least
12 years old.

From 280: Take the San Bruno Avenue exit. Go uncer the
freeway left), and then back onto 280 going south. Take the first
exit (Crystal Springs). Go under the freway (to the left). Turn
left first opportunity onto Cunningham. Turn left at the T onto
Jenevein (which becomes Withman). left onto Courtland Drive. Fields
are on your right. There are two fields (upper and lower).
From 101: Take the
380 cut-over to 280. South on 280. Take the
first exit (Crystal Springs). Go under the freway (to the left).

Sunset Playground is located
at 2201 Lawton Street, San Francisco.

Fees:
$25.00, includes all instructional materials and
first year of referee registration. In
order to reserve your space you must register online and mail your
registration form with payment to:
SF Vikings League, 2521 Judah Street, San Francisco, CA 94122. Space
is limited so those attending the course are required to promise
to referee a minimum of 5 Viking League games during the season
(they will be paid for refereeing the games).

is limited to District 1 (San Francisco, SSF and San Bruno residents
only. Attendees must promise to referee a minimum of 5 Viking
