Referee Game Reports

Referees Report your game scores by Sunday night by clicking on Referee Game Reports on the left.  You must report your scores online to get paid!!!!!

Referee Sign-up:

November 18 , 2006 Referee Opportunties are posted. Please note, priority goes to referees previously signed up for November 11th matches that got rained out. All November 11 referees need to send an email to confirm or cancel their assignments.

Generally referees are booked to do a series of games in a row usually 2 or 3. Whether it is 2 or 3 games depends on the number of games on the field that day. This enables us to simplify our referee-assigning task and at the same time allows referees to make a fair amount of money for coming out. In addition, we pay a bonus to referees who sign up for games in advance (but if you sign up early and later cancel you will no longer be eligible for this bonus-EVER!)

For a list of games available for each date by age, click on the appropriate link below. New referees should start with U7/8 games and once they are comfortable can move up to doing U9 and U10 games. Once you see a game that you want to do, send an email to Soccer4u@earthlink.net indicating your name, the date and slot that you want. It is a good idea to give a first, second and third choice. We generally look at emails every evening and will confirm if you got your request.  We take requests in the order we receive them.  We will also post your last name in the slot indicating that it is your slot.

*To be eligible for early sign up you must sign up for the slot of games more than one week in advance.  If you sign up for the early sign up and later cancel, you will no longer be eligible to receive the bonus for early signup.

No Shows:

If a team does not show and there is a default you are paid anyway - please report score as 1-0 forfeit win and the winning team name.

If you fail to show up for a game, you will have to referee one game free for us for each game you miss. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice to us that will be treated as a no show unless we can find a different referee. The reason for this penalty is that when a referee does not show for a game (which only rarely happens) teams are left in a very difficult position.  In addition, if you sign up for a game at least one week in advance to receive the bonus for early signup and later cancel or do not show, you will not longer be eligible to receive the bonus for early signup.

Reporting Scores

Referees must report game scores online on our website by the Sunday night after the game in order to receive payment.  Referees do not have to return game cards but should keep them until the end of the season in case of any mistakes by the office.  Payments will be made after the 4th week, 8th week and end of the season.

Refereeing Opportunities Available:
