Adopting--kittens or cats
When placing a kitten or cat, we require a contract.
The following stipulations are contained in it.
The cat or kitten will have vaccinations as indicated on
the bill of sale.
The breeder guarantees your cat or kitten's health for
seven (7) days after it leaves the breeder's home.
A health certificate is provided if the cat is shipped by
air.
The buyer can have the animal evaluated by their own
veterinarian within 7 days of receipt of the animal(Recommended).
If, within the 7-day period, a licensed veterinarian believes the cat
or kitten is sick, the cat or kitten may be returned for a refund.A cat
or kitten returned for health reasons must be accompanied by a signed
statement from the examining veterinarian. If a cat/kitten is to
be returned to the breeder for health reasons within the guarantee
period, any shipping costs will be incurred by the breeder.
The breeder (Lansingridge Cattery) is not responsible for
veterinary or related services expenses incurred by the buyer.
Any health problems discovered in the cat/kitten after the
7 day period that could only have been pre-existing and undetected will
be remedied (i.e. partial refund or replacement cat/kitten) and will be
at the discretion of the breeder.
In accepting responsibility for the cat or kitten, the
purchaser agrees to the following:

The cat or kitten will at no time be declawed.
2)
The cat or kitten will not be an outdoor cat or an indoor outdoor
cat.
3) A cat or kitten sold as a pet or show alter will be spayed or
neutered by the breeder before the buyer receives the cat.
4) The cat or kitten will not be used medical or scientific research
purposes.
5) If buyer is unable to keep cat/kitten, the buyer will contact the
breeder immediately.
6) The breeder is not liable for any damage or injury caused by a cat
or kitten.
