MORO HISTORICAL RESEARCH
This website is a supplemental archive of cultural and historical information about the Moros, Muslim natives from Mindanao and the Sulu archipelago, today the people are known collectively as the BangsaMoro, "Moro nation". In order to preserve vestiges of old Mindanao and Sulu heritage, the artifacts presented were discovered and selected for protection by Pendato` Daranda Mabagani.
The writings within the webpages are anecdotal in nature covering different aspects of the culture as I journey back in time through study to reveal hidden history. Scholarly writings are meant for extensive reference books which I direct to in a bibliography, here I write in the form of journal type entries "opening the realm of the senses" as my Moro brother, a kindred soul, would say, giving visual insight with short descriptives which are more appropriate for a humble webpage.
Within each subject heading there are several layers of interests that can be navigated by clicking the links at the bottom of each page. In presenting information in this manner I could only point at clues having students sift through the details and gather their own opinions as they make the journey towards scholarly endeavors exploring an endless rediscovery into a deeper untold heritage.
