Stanford Skate, Stanford, CA, USA - Wednesday nights.
There is no online information that I know of. This is some information that Liz Miller sent:

Last time I checked (over a year ago), the Stanford group skate met on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm at the west end of University Avenue at the oval parking lot. They followed a 7 mile course offering a mix of challenging urban terrain suitable for mid-level to stair thrasher skill sets. The shop Nuvo in Palo Alto may have updates to this. They often have a presence. Call Nuvo at 415-326-6886.

Robert Motoh adds:

I am a wednesday, and friday night skater. The low down on the wednesday night skate is this.

The skate begins on the Stanford University Campus in front of the main quad at somewhere around 7:30 P.M. It is suggested to Get there by 7:15pm because on some occasions they have been known to leave early. The skate travels through and around the Stanford Campus and has some nice downhill runs. Pavement gets rough in a couple of spots but overall the skate is nice. Summer numbers are usually around 100-150 And winter numbers are much lower.

Directions: North or South take 101 towards Palo Alto. Take the University avenue exit. Follow university through the shopping district and onto campus. Follow to the bildings directly ahead. The meeting place is on the steps to the quad.

The skate estimated at around 9 miles. The course changes with the number of skaters and the amount of daylight. If you go to this skate you should be able to go downhills comfortably.
