Each member is matched with student inquiries. The three closest matching members to an inquiry have their preferred phone number and some background information given to the potential student. The student can then contact each of the members to discuss the details of a professional relationship.
When a member receives a referral from the SBAFIA that turns into a professional relationship and is maintained until the student's certification is complete, the member donates $2.50 to the SBAFIA for every hour of instruction given to that particular student. If the member is not satisfied with the referral or if the student does not complete their training, no donation is requested. It's up to the donating member to accurately and honestly donate the correct amount.
