San Vicente Reservoir

Mussey Grade Road was the route from San Diego to Julian until 1943 when the San Vicente Dam was completed. After the dam was completed, Mussey Grade Road came to a dead end as the reservoir was filled over where the road exhisted. The reservoir is used to store drinking water for local communities.
