All About Suzy Berger
Described as "Comic perfection" by the San Francisco Chronicle, Suzy Berger has enjoyed a loyal following and unanimous critical acclaim as a comic, actor, and writer.
Suzy is featured in the books A Funny Time to be Gay, The Gay Book of Quotes, and Revolutionary Laughter (the latter along with Whoopi Goldberg another in the great tradition of Jewish comics).
Suzy Tours: Suzy has shared the stage with Robin Williams and Sandra Bernhardt. She has brought her comic talents to Montreal's Just for Laughs, Canada's WTN-TV's She's So Funny, and to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"Her intelligent humor brings every audience to tears of laughter" Las Vegas Bugle.
Check out Suzy's CD, Gay from Las Vegas.
Berger has also written and performed her own solo show, The Talking Cure, a serio-comedy dealing with AIDS.
"It's both sidesplittingly funny and heartbreakingly affecting." San Francisco Bay Guardian
"These bon mots coming out of her mouth are what everybody is thinking, or would if they had her wit." SF Weekly

Suzy is also a unique voice talent in the industry. You can hear her distinct voice in radio commercials for Circuit City, Fresh Express, Foster Farms, Amazon.com, and others. And then there are Suzy's performances in humorous radio plays for BBC5 and the NEA-funded Women's Comedy Show (Suzy did not have input in that hilarious title) for NPR.
Suzy is a freelance writer for Girlfriends and LN. She is writing a book of humorous essays, entitled Booby Prize. And she had a brief stint as a contributing writer to the Roseanne show.
Perhaps Suzy's most infamous achievement is that the legendary Josie's Cabaret in San Francisco named a burger after her!
