Next click on OPTIONS again and select PROPERTIES A window will open, similar to the one below.

Playback

Click on "RECORDING" and put a check mark on all the little boxes below. Then click on "OK"

You should now see the "Recording Controls" window, wich looks similar to the image below.

(Not everyone has the same audio settings, just concentrate on the items we mention.)

You should have a check mark in SELECT under Microphone Balance

(Thats why we were able to hear you in PalTalk)

Now here is the tricky part.... Since we have different sound cards the Device might be listed in a different name in your Recording Controls window... BUT this is what you are looking for

WAVE MIXER RECORDING STEREO MONO

If you do not see any of these .... well ... I can only tell you that it isnt one of these below.

None of these

If you do see any of the ones mentioned above. Then click on SELECT under the device.
And lets continue to the final steps
