Mt. Diablo

A hawk oversees his territory unknowing that soon it shall be covered with new houses.

Mt. Diablo is east of San Francisco CA. and rarely sees much snow. When it does snow, the snow melts very quickly.

Sawtooth Ridge, In the Trinity Alps

This is a composite of 2 shots of the ridge. One a close up, and the other taken from a distance. I carefully manipulated both shots so that the ridge line matched up, to give a surrealistic 3D affect

I wanted to create an image that would make people stop and stare, even if it gave them a headache.
