Going–to–the–Sun Road

Going-to-the-Sun RoadAn absolute must–do for every park visitor. The Going–to–the–Sun Road is aptly named it crosses the park and the continental divide. Climbs steeply and is VERY NARROW – not for the squeamish. My recommendation is leave the driving to the exports, take a tour. You will see much more and get the great stories from the tour guides. In 2002 the big red busses called Jammers are expected to return to the park. These are convertible classics that must be the coolest way to see the park.

The road is currently under repair, so expect some delays. Long term studies are underway on how to keep this precarious path hanging on the edge of the steep cliff's.
Water falls

Along the road are some amazing waterfalls, as you get closer to the receding glaciers. It is estimated that by 2030 all of the glaciers in Glacier park will have melted.

Tight Falls
Paramont?

This peek looks a lot like Paramount Pictures logo. Unfortunately by the time that I got to the location that they used the peak was shrouded with clouds. So you will have to check it out for yourself
