D I V E R S I O N S
There are trace amounts of
architectural genes in my blood. My grandmother's grandfather, Thomas Stent,
moved from Bath, England to Canada in the 1860s after winning a
competition to design the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa. He later
moved to New York and worked on the Astor Library, and several other
buildings in the 1880s, and eventually retired (and died), in Los
Angeles.
