Lettering Intruments
Keuffel & Esser has pretty much had the lettering set market sewn up since the introduction of the Leroy Lettering Set. The older sets came in a compartmentalized mahogany box with slots for 10 or 15 templates of various sizes and typeface, pens in a wide range of widths, and room for scriber and ink.

Inkwells

Cast iron inkwell for glass bottle and stopper. Designed for one-handed operation. This pen filling ink stand holds the bottle, keeps the ink from evaporating and permits filling of the drawing pen with one hand.

Line Dotting Tool

Line dotting tool or wheel pen in velvet-lined case. Alternative wheels are used to achieve different combinations of dot-dash lines used by cartographers for maps and by architects and engineers for delineating center lines and objects hidden at a higher or lower level.

Brush/Scale
Clever combination brush / scale. 12" long. Made in Germany. Saves space on the drawing board.

Clever combination brush / triangle. 8" long. Made in Germany. Cunningly efficient. Sort of reminds one of Merit Oppenheim's surrealistic fur teacup.
