TOPIC: Veterans are rarely contacted by pollsters to ask your opinions. The following questions have been taken from national surveys conducted by news media pollsters.

QUESTION 1/12: If the election were held today who would you vote for?

    McCain

QUESTION 2/12: George Bush cited John McCain's name as a supporter of the recent GI Bill. George Bush did not cite Obama's name. McCain did not support the GI Bill but spoke against it. Obama supported the GI Bill and spoke for its passage. Do you agree with McCain that the today's veterans should not have received a new GI Bill, or do you agree with Obama that today's veterans deserved a new GI Bill?

QUESTION 3/12: McCain has called for a continued combat presence in Iraq for as long as it takes to achieve a military victory. Obama has called for an end to US military combat presence in Iraq. Do you agree with McCain or Obama?

QUESTION 4/12: In the past McCain has called for military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities that were begun during the Nixon Administration in 1971 and continued into the Carter Administration prior to the 1980 Iranian "Hostage Crises". Military analysts agree that McCain's desire to launch a "pre-emptive" military strike on Iran would dramatically enlargen the ground war in the Gulf Theater and necessitate reinstation of the Draft to procure the necessary military personnel to wage a larger war. Obama has called for diplomacy, restrictions on nuclear technology and an intense economic and political strategy to deal with Iran so as to avoid greater loss of American life, severe oil shortages, across-the-board econmomic challenges and very long war.
