CITY STABLES UPDATE
A few weeks ago, the City Council committed
to spending the state grant to improve the stable infrastructure. The Park Department has decided what to
spend the money on and is in the process of finding a contractor to do the
work. After the work is completed, the
Park plans to hold a public meeting before beginning the search to find a
concessionaire to run the barn and programs.
Hopefully there will be boarding and outreach programs at City Stables
next summer.
