Week of December 3, 2000 Weight: 266.25
Total Loss: 64.252000.12.02 - Another Week, Another Pound ... Two and a half pounds .. not too bad! It wasn't as good as I was hoping, but I think my expectations were a bit too high. Nonetheless, I will continue to strive for the next "BIG CLICK" - the point at which I move to the next lower 50 lbs range on our Doctor's scale.

2000.12.03 - Water Loss?? ... A few weeks ago, I was happy to see a 5 lbs loss in one week - the following week was less spectacular. It evens out, right??
Today, we slept in late and, after walking the dog, and then walking a brisk 1.5 miles, I weighed and I was down another 3 lbs!! It turns out that the scenario is very similar to when the 5 lbs loss took place - we slept in late, did an aggressive workout before weighing. By weighing later in the day, there is opportunity for more water elimination, and the workout *does* build up a sweat! It may be just water weight. It will take a few more occurrances to determine a definitive pattern.
No matter. It is an unofficial Millennium Challenge weigh-in, and we'll see how the remainder of the week goes.
29 days to go, weight 263.25, 13.25 lbs to lose.
2000.12.05 - No Time!! ... Things have been hectic at work. We have a bigt project that has some major milestones by year end, and I'm also playing host to government customers this week. With the preparation for the meetings, the diet is suffering. I've been a BAD boy, snacking on peanuts and cookies .. BAD!!
I think things will settle down some tomorrow, as the customers prepare to leave. I've stayed within my calorie targets, but the makeup has not been great. ::sigh::
27 days to go, weight 266.25, 16.25 lbs to lose.
2000.12.07 - Shrinking ... I really don't think of myself as getting thinner. I have to consciously think about what I am seeing when I put on a pair of old jeans and there is a big gap between the pants and my belly. So far, I've given quite a few clothes to the Salvation Army. At this time I have:
Gone from a 54 pants to 46 (and I have some 44 jeans to grow into :O)so, things are getting better!! My goal weight should include a 16 1/2 to 17 shirt, and 36-38 jeans. Something to look forward to.
Gone from a 3XL sweatshirt to a 2XL
Gone from a size 20-big dress shirt to an 18-big25 days to go, weight 264.25, 14.25 lbs to lose.
