For Mission Valley Carpool: Park on the street in front of the Methodist Church at 2111 Camino Del Rio South (west of Texas St.) NOTE: Leaders may not be at the carpool location. Important Notice Bring lunch, 2-3 qt. water, sun and rain protection, lug-soled shoes, and carpool money. Some hikes will be cross country or rock scrambling. "First timers" and those driving from other than Mission Valley must call the leaders. Also call in case of bad weather conditions. Poor or dangerous conditions or weather condition may cause hike to be moved or canceled. Please renew your membership!! NOTE: Due to closure of portion of Cleveland National Forest,

| The Lagunas are really beautiful now with the leaves changing to beautiful yellow. Join us as we hike there and enjoy the show. We will do our Cemetery Hike beginning promptly at 9:00 am from the Red Roost Trailhead, milepost 22.7 on the Sunrise Highway. This hike is about 12 miles long and moderately strenuous. | A nice fall day for a hike through the Santa Ysabel Open Space Preserve. We will start at 9:00 AM from the Santa Ysabel West trailhead and do between 10 & 12 miles depending on what we feel like. This will be an in/out type of hike. We will return to the trailhead sometime around 2:30ish. Mission Valley Car Pool, if there is one 7:15. | |

| While starting a bit cool, looks like a beautiful Mt Laguna fall day. Join Stan and Don for a ramble out of the Info Station at Milepost 19.2 on Sunrise Highway. We are planning a hike out to Jim&Al Ridge and then over to Manza point. We will do a loop of around 10 Moderately Strenuous miles. Plan to return to Trailhead by 2:30PM. | Today's hike will be a Willie favorite to see if we can get through a trimmed area below Channing Meadow. Park at milepost 15.5 at the large turn out area on Sunrise Highway. This is a Moderately Strenuous in/out hike of about 10+ miles and a bit over 1000 vertical elevation gain and loss. The hike will leave the trailhead promptly at 9:00 AM and we plan to return to the cars by 2:30ish. Adventure Pass or equivalent will be necessary for parking. Mission Valley carpool 8:00AM | |

| Today's hike will be North Lake Hodges and Bernardo Mt. We will cover about 11-12 miles on relatively flat terrain, except for the couple of miles up Bernardo Mt. We will be back to the trailhead by 2:30 PM. From I15 take the Via Rancho Parkway exit. Take a left, west across the bridge, as you exit the freeway. Take Via Rancho Parkway around 1.7 miles to Lake Blvd. Take another left onto Lake Blvd and go about 1 mile. Turn left again into the Lake Hodges entry road and parking lot. | Today's hike will be in Daley Ranch with our annual Thanksgiving potluck immediately following at Lake Dixon. The hike starts promptly at 9:00 am from the trailhead. We will hike 6 to 8 moderate miles and end up back at our cars around 12:30. Bring water, a light snack, appropriate clothing. There are picnic tables available. Plates, glasses and utensils will be provided. Don and Elaine Willingham will be bringing the turkey so the rest of us need to bring something to share and your own beverage. It will be a great time as always! Direction: To get to the trailhead, take the El Norte Exit east off I15 in Escondido. Take El Norte Road East to La Honda Drive which has a sign on corner showing both Daley Ranch and Lake Dixon. Turn left and go North to end of La Honda and turn into Lake Dixon.
