Soft white wrappers

Note: This variant is identical to the First Edition except for the addition of Miller signature, limitation number in pencil, and the date "4/11/70." Bob Nash, publisher of this essay, told this writer in May 1991 that none of the copies he distributed were signed and limited by Miller. As payment to Miller for permission to publish this essay, Mr. Nash would periodically give Miller 50 or 100 copies of the book. Apparently, when a stash of these copies surfaced in 1970, Miller, either on his own, or at someone else's suggestion, created this "limited edition."
A133d 1973 FIRST VILLAGE PRESS EDITION
