Note: Though not identified on the title page as a Keimeisha Edition, their publisher's device [an elephant] does appear on the back wrapper and the book follows the same wrapper and dust jacket design as other Keimeisha Editions of Miller's works which were issued in 1960. This edition is a photo-offset from the 1960 Obelisk Press edition with changes on the title page and some of the preliminary pages.
The tipped in Japanese colophon which is seen on Keimeisha editions was missing for the particular copy inspected, yet some residual glue was visible.
