Varda, The Master Builder
A42a 1945 FIRST BERN PORTER EDITION
White paper wrappers
Published in June 1945, in an edition of 40 copies.
Note: For this item, the essay "Varda" has been stripped from Circle magazine, Vol. I No. 4 (1944), and stapled on the left side. A piece of gray masking tape has been added to the spine area to cover the three staples and extends approximately 1/2 inch onto the front wrapper. The "list of Miller titles" which appears on the front was cut from p. 73 of Circle magazine where background information was listed on each of the magazines contributors for that specific issue. This magazaine-to-pamphlet limited edition was assembled by Bern Porter.
