Image scanned from a 4 x 5 print. Photo had significant vignetting due to the focal reducer. The vignetting was removed in Photoshop using techniques described in the Technique section of this site. The orange color is due to the atmospheric refraction and probably the red sensitivity of the film. The elevation of Omega Centauri was only 7 degrees above the horizion. |
